Thank goodness this day is over for another year. Stupid anticipation always leads to major disappointment.

Ya Gotta Regatta

Making a second appearance in the Regatta - "Ligit" helped B, G, Erin and Katja come in first for the canoe's and also with best decorated/themed canoe. Ligit is now back up in the beach house, dreaming of next years Regatta!!!

Rain Rain Go Away

On the news tonight they commented that today was our 7th straight day of severe storms - no kidding -and the pattern is going to be the same for the next 7. Today alone 3 seperate thunderstorms came through. Of course I had hung out bath and beach towels today on the line, was too cheap to fully dry them at the laundromat. The weatherman this morning said the chance was low for storms so ........I hung them out and ran errands - it was sunny when I left. Well when I got home they were not longer just damp, they were dripping. By the time I had my groceries put away and was ready to deal with the wet towels the second storm blew through so I just left them out there - something tells me I will be hauling them back to the laundromat tomorrow! It would just be nice to enjoy one dry day - here in the woods everything stays so wet, even the mushrooms in the yard are sporting mold!!
